I had back surgery just over 3 years ago so I have medical concerns. She really knows what she is doing, is highly professional, and she is very concerned with her client's well-being.
Amina-san is a lovely lady who does home visits as well. She is professional, always arrives right on time and most importantly, has calming, relaxing abilities.
I feel more relaxed, clear headed, and rested after receiving reikipuncture. It isn't an aggressive treatment but a holistic one.
Unfortunately, I have had to downgrade my review. The owner of this salon is not professional. She made a comment about the other Australian run salon's owner and called her previous past profession into question which I don't care about. What I do care about is work ethics and professionalism and it isn't found here.
That and it is VERY dirty. The mirrors need a cleaning and the bathrooms are filthy. Do not use the hand towels, they are not being washed.
When you first enter the shop, you will be asked to sit down on the leather couches. You are then served a cup of tea. Afterwards, you are taken to the basement where they have several small private rooms. Before your massage, you soak your feet for several minutes. The massages that I have received here have been exceptional. Staff members are professional and courteous. The only negative thing I would have to say is that it is quite time consuming...tea, foot soak, more tea afterwards. Be sure to make room for an extra 30 minutes plus your treatment.
I visited this place several times for a combination of acupuncture and massage. The massage itself was very good, however, I found the acupuncture to be quite uncomfortable. Also, I requested that they call me by my family name but they did not.
